Ingredients

  • Beef900 g
  • Dark beer500 ml
  • Onions3 pcs
  • Mustard2 tbsp
  • Bread2 скибки
  • Thyme1 tsp
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Black pepper1 to taste

Instructions

For Belgian Carbonnade, cut onions, beef and bread into serving pieces.

Brown beef lightly.

Add onions and cook for 3-5 minutes.

Pour in water and add dark beer, mustard and thyme.

Simmer gently until tender and the sauce is thick.

Adjust salt and pepper and serve hot.
