Argentinian Empanadas
Baked pastries filled with spiced beef, onion, egg, and olives.
Ingredients
- Empanada dough600 g
- Ground beef500 g
- Onions2 pcs
- Boiled eggs2 pcs
- Green olives80 g
- Paprika1 tsp
- Ground cumin0.5 tsp
- Oil2 tbsp
Instructions
Finely chop the onions and sauté them in oil until soft.
Add the beef, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper; cook until done.
Cool the filling, then add chopped boiled eggs and olives.
Roll out the dough and cut circles 12–14 cm wide.
Place filling on each circle, fold in half, and seal the edges firmly.
Bake at 200°C for 20–25 minutes until golden.
