Ingredients
- red kidney beans400 g
- rice300 g
- smoked sausage250 g
- onion1 pcs
- celery2 stalks
- bell pepper1 pcs
- cajun spices1 tbsp
- parsley15 g
- bay leaf2 pcs
- paprika1 tsp
- garlic2 cloves
- broth500 ml
Instructions

Soak dried beans overnight, then boil until tender, or use canned beans.

Finely chop onion, celery, and pepper and saute until soft.

Add garlic, smoked paprika, bay leaf, and sausage or ham if included.

Add the beans with some broth or water and simmer for 20-30 minutes until thick.

Cook the rice separately until fluffy.

Serve the beans over rice, sprinkled with spring onion or parsley.
