Deruny (Potato Pancakes)
Crispy grated potato pancakes with a tender center and a golden crust.
Ingredients
- potato700 g
- onion1 pcs
- egg1 pcs
- flour2 tbsp
- frying oil4 tbsp
- sour cream100 g
- salt1 to taste
- black pepper1 to taste
Instructions
Finely grate the potatoes and onion, then squeeze out the excess liquid.
Add the egg, flour, salt, and pepper, then mix until evenly combined.
Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
Spoon the potato mixture into the pan and shape it into small pancakes.
Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and crisp.
Serve immediately while hot, with sour cream on the side.
