Homemade Ryazhenka

Ingredients

  • Milk1500 ml
  • Sour cream or plain yogurt150 g

Instructions

Pour the milk into a heavy pot or ceramic baking dish.

Bake at 120–130°C for 3–4 hours until the milk turns creamy beige.

Cool to 38–40°C.

Add sour cream or yogurt as the starter and mix well.

Pour into jars, cover, and leave warm for 6–8 hours.

Chill for at least 3 hours before serving.
