Buckwheat with Mushrooms
Toasted buckwheat cooked with mushrooms and onion for a simple hearty meal.
Ingredients
- Buckwheat groats200 g
- Mushrooms (button or wild)300 g
- Onion1 pcs
- Butter30 g
- Oil2 tbsp
Instructions
Toast the buckwheat in a dry pan for 3-4 minutes until it smells nutty.
Slice the mushrooms and fry them in oil for 5-7 minutes.
Add the finely chopped onion and cook for another 3 minutes.
Add the buckwheat and pour in hot water at a 1:2 ratio. Season with salt.
Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, cover, and cook for 15 minutes.
Stir in the butter and serve hot.
