Mochanka

A thick sour cream sauce with mushrooms or meat for dipping bread and pancakes.

Ingredients

  • Mushrooms300 g
  • Onion1 pcs
  • Sour cream250 g
  • Broth250 ml
  • Flour1 tbsp
  • Butter30 g

Instructions

Slice the mushrooms and finely dice the onion.

Fry the onion in butter, add mushrooms, and cook until the liquid evaporates.

Sprinkle with flour, stir, and cook for 1 minute.

Pour in broth while stirring to avoid lumps.

Add sour cream, salt, and pepper, then simmer for 8–10 minutes until thick.

Serve hot with pancakes, potatoes, or bread.
