Polish Nalesniki with Cheese
Thin Polish crepes filled with sweet farmer's cheese.
Ingredients
- flour250 g
- milk500 ml
- egg2 pcs
- butter30 g
- quark350 g
- sugar50 g
- vanilla1 tsp
- salt1 to taste
- cream150 ml
- sour cream100 g
Instructions
Whisk eggs with milk, flour, a pinch of salt, and sugar into a smooth batter.
Add melted butter and rest the batter for 15 minutes.
Cook thin crepes on a well-heated pan.
Mix farmer's cheese with sugar, vanilla, and a spoon of sour cream.
Fill the crepes and fold into envelopes or rolls.
Optionally pan-fry in butter until lightly golden.
