Ingredients

  • flour600 g
  • milk250 ml
  • dry yeast10 g
  • egg yolk5 pcs
  • sugar80 g
  • butter80 g
  • jam or fruit butter250 g
  • deep-frying oil1000 ml

Instructions

Dissolve yeast in warm milk with a spoonful of sugar.

Add flour, egg yolks, butter, sugar, and knead a soft dough.

Let the dough rise for 1–1.5 hours until doubled.

Shape balls and let them proof for another 25 minutes.

Deep-fry at 170°C until golden on both sides.

After cooling, fill with jam and dust with powdered sugar or glaze.
