Roast Pork with Spices
Juicy pork neck rubbed with garlic, paprika and rosemary, roasted whole in the oven together with potatoes until golden brown.
Ingredients
- pork (neck)1000 g
- potato600 g
- garlic5 cloves
- paprika2 tsp
- rosemary3 g
- olive oil3 tbsp
- salt1 to taste
- black pepper1 to taste
Instructions
Pat the pork neck dry with a paper towel and rub it with salt, black pepper, paprika and half of the minced garlic.
With a sharp knife, make deep cuts all over the meat, insert the remaining garlic pieces into them, cover with plastic wrap and marinate for 30 minutes.
Cut the potatoes into wedges and toss with 2 tbsp olive oil, salt and rosemary sprigs. Place the pork neck in a roasting pan, arrange the potatoes around it, and drizzle the meat with the remaining oil.
Cover the pan with foil and roast in an oven preheated to 180°C for 60 minutes.
Remove the foil and roast for another 20 minutes, until the meat and potatoes are nicely browned.
Take the pork out of the oven, cover with foil and let it rest for 10 minutes, then slice into portions and serve with the potatoes.
