Syrnyky (Farmer's Cheese Pancakes)

Ingredients

  • Farmer's cheese (5-9%)500 g
  • Egg1 pcs
  • Sugar3 tbsp
  • Flour5 tbsp
  • Vanillin1 щіпка
  • Sour cream for serving100 g

Instructions

Press the farmer's cheese through a sieve or blend it until smooth.

Add the egg, sugar, vanilla, and salt, then mix well.

Gradually add the flour until the dough is soft but not sticky.

Shape into round patties about 1.5 cm thick and coat them lightly in flour.

Fry for 3-4 minutes per side over medium heat until golden.
