Hutsul Fried Eggs
A hearty Hutsul-style fried egg dish with cracklings, bryndza, and herbs.
Ingredients
- Eggs4 pcs
- Pork lard or bacon80 g
- Onion1 pcs
- Bryndza cheese80 g
- Fresh herbs15 g
Instructions
Dice the lard or bacon and render it in a pan until crisp.
Add chopped onion and fry until golden.
Lower the heat and crack the eggs directly into the pan.
Salt lightly because the bryndza is salty; add pepper.
Sprinkle with crumbled bryndza and cook until the yolks are set to your liking.
Finish with herbs and serve with dark bread.
