Rice with Meatballs in Tomato Gravy

Ingredients

  • Rice250 g
  • Pork and beef mince500 g
  • Egg1 pcs
  • Onion1 pcs
  • Tomato paste3 tbsp
  • Flour1 tbsp
  • Oil2 tbsp
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Black pepper1 to taste
  • Sugar1 tsp
  • Water500 ml

Instructions

Rinse and cook the rice until tender.

Mix the mince with egg, finely chopped onion, salt, and pepper.

Shape small meatballs and brown them quickly.

Mix tomato paste, water, flour, salt, and a pinch of sugar for the gravy.

Pour the gravy over the meatballs and simmer covered for 20 minutes.

Serve the meatballs with rice and plenty of sauce.
