Rice Porridge with Chicken Gravy
Simple rice served with a light chicken, carrot, and onion gravy.
Ingredients
- Rice250 g
- Chicken breast400 g
- Onion1 pcs
- Carrot1 pcs
- Flour1 tbsp
- Oil2 tbsp
- Salt1 to taste
- Black pepper1 to taste
- Bay leaves2 pcs
- Broth or water400 ml
Instructions
Rinse the rice, combine with water in a 1:2 ratio, season with salt, and cook covered for 15 minutes.
Dice the chicken, chop the onion, and grate the carrot.
Fry the chicken in oil for 5 minutes, add the vegetables, and cook for another 5 minutes.
Stir in the flour, then pour in broth or water.
Simmer the gravy for 10-12 minutes and season with salt, pepper, and bay leaf.
Serve the rice topped with hot chicken gravy.
