Khao Pad

Ingredients

  • Cooked rice500 g
  • Chicken or shrimp350 g
  • Eggs3 pcs
  • Soy sauce3 tbsp
  • Fish sauce1 tbsp
  • Lime1 pcs
  • Sugar1 tsp
  • Garlic2 cloves

Instructions

Use cold cooked jasmine rice and break up clumps with your hands.

Prepare egg, garlic, onion, vegetables, and chicken, shrimp, or tofu.

In a hot wok, fry the garlic, add the protein, and cook through.

Push everything aside, crack in the egg, and scramble quickly.

Add rice, soy or fish sauce, and a little sugar, then stir-fry over high heat.

Serve with cucumber, lime, and spring onion.
