Larb Gai
A fresh thai home-style dish with ground chicken, limes, fish sauce, easy to add to a weekly menu.
Ingredients
- Ground chicken500 g
- Limes2 pcs
- Fish sauce3 tbsp
- Mint30 g
- Cilantro30 g
- Toasted rice powder2 tbsp
- Salt1 to taste
- Oil2 tbsp
- Water500 ml
Instructions
Cook the minced chicken in a little water or oil until fully done.
Toast rice in a dry pan until golden and grind it into a coarse powder.
Mix the warm chicken with fish sauce, lime juice, chili, and toasted rice powder.
Add thinly sliced shallot, mint, cilantro, and spring onion.
Taste and balance saltiness, acidity, and heat.
Serve with lettuce leaves, cucumber, and sticky rice.
