British lamb casserole with onions and a sliced potato topping.

Ingredients

  • Lamb700 g
  • Potatoes900 g
  • Onions2 pcs
  • Carrots2 pcs
  • Broth500 ml
  • Butter50 g
  • Worcestershire sauce1 tbsp
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Black pepper1 to taste

Instructions

Cut lamb into pieces and brown quickly.

Place onion and carrot in a dish with the meat.

Add broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.

Slice potatoes thinly and layer them on top.

Brush with butter and cover with foil.

Bake at 170°C for 1.5 hours, then uncover and brown for 20 minutes.
