Albanian Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients

  • Bell peppers2 pcs
  • Pork and beef mince500 g
  • Rice250 g
  • Onion1 pcs
  • Canned tomatoes400 g
  • Parsley20 g
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Paprika1 tsp
  • Cream150 ml
  • Sour cream100 g
  • Tomato paste2 tbsp
  • Water500 ml

Instructions

Core the peppers while keeping their shape.

Mix mince with rice, onion, herbs, salt, pepper, and a little paprika.

Fill the peppers without packing too tightly.

Place them in a dish and add tomato sauce or water mixed with tomato paste.

Cover and simmer or bake for 45-60 minutes until tender.

Serve with yogurt, sour cream, or bread.
