Ingredients

  • Sauerkraut400 g
  • Pork500 g
  • Pearl barley250 g
  • Onion1 pcs
  • Carrot1 pcs
  • Broth or water800 ml
  • Salt1 to taste

Instructions

Cover the pork with broth or water and cook for 40 minutes.

Rinse the pearl barley and chop the onion and carrot.

Add barley, sauerkraut, onion, and carrot to the broth.

Cook for 45-60 minutes until the barley and cabbage are tender.

Cut the pork into pieces and return it to the soup.

Season with salt at the end and serve hot.
