Lithuanian Beet Salad

Salad with beetroot, beans, pickles, and onion

Ingredients

  • Beetroot2 pcs
  • White beans300 g
  • Pickles3 pcs
  • Onion1 pcs
  • Oil2 tbsp
  • Vinegar2 tbsp
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Black pepper1 to taste
  • Cream150 ml
  • Sour cream100 g

Instructions

Boil or roast the beets until tender, then cool and peel.

Grate the beets or cut them into small cubes.

Add chopped pickles, finely chopped onion, and apple if it is included in the ingredients.

Dress with sour cream, mayonnaise, or oil and vinegar.
