Eggs in Sour Cream
A simple Hutsul-style dish of eggs baked in sour cream with herbs.
Ingredients
- Eggs4 pcs
- Sour cream150 g
- Butter15 g
- Fresh herbs15 g
- Hard cheese30 g
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180-200°C.
Prepare fresh herbs and eggs: cut, boil, or saute the components that need precooking.
Arrange eggs and fresh herbs in the dish in layers or as an even mixture.
Add sour cream, hard cheese and butter as the topping, cheese, sauce, or aromatic part.
Bake until browned on top and fully cooked inside.
Let the dish rest for 5-10 minutes and serve.
