Peruvian Anticuchos
A popular peruvian home-style dish with beef heart or steak, aji paste, vinegar, well suited for a family weekly menu.
Ingredients
- Beef heart or steak700 g
- Aji paste2 tbsp
- Vinegar3 tbsp
- Garlic cloves4 cloves
- Cumin1 tsp
- Potatoes500 g
Instructions
Cut the main ingredient into portions, pat dry, and marinate with spices, oil, and acidity.
Let it marinate for at least 20–30 minutes, or longer for deeper flavor.
Heat a grill, grill pan, or oven to high temperature.
Cook until browned and done inside, turning only a few times.
Rest for 5 minutes, then slice or serve whole with a side dish and sauce.
