Boraki Armenian Dumplings
Traditional dough pieces filled with a juicy savory filling.
Ingredients
- wheat flour300 g
- beef mince400 g
- onion1 pcs
- butter30 g
- plain yogurt250 g
- garlic3 cloves
- salt1 tsp
- black pepper0.5 tsp
Instructions
Knead a firm but elastic dough from flour, water, and salt; cover and rest for 20–30 minutes.
Make the filling with Борошно пшеничне, Яловичий фарш, Вершкове масло, Йогурт натуральний, mixing it with onion, spices, and herbs from the recipe.
Roll the dough thinly and cut it into rounds or squares of the needed size.
Place filling in the center of each piece and seal tightly so the juices stay inside.
Boil, steam, or pan-fry the dumplings according to the dish style.
Serve hot with sauce, broth, yogurt, or herbs if traditional for the recipe.
