Joojeh Kabab
Iranian saffron-yogurt marinated chicken kebab.
Ingredients
- chicken fillet or thigh800 g
- plain yogurt150 g
- saffron0.3 g
- lemon juice3 tbsp
- onion1 pcs
- olive oil3 tbsp
Instructions
Cut the Chicken breast or thigh into even pieces so they cook evenly.
Mix a marinade from Plain yogurt, spices, acid, or oil from the recipe.
Leave the Chicken breast or thigh in the marinade for at least 30 minutes.
Thread onto skewers or place on a very hot grill pan.
Cook over high heat, turning, until browned and fully cooked.
Serve Joojeh Kabab with herbs, flatbread, salad, or sauce.
