Ingredients

  • mung beans180 g
  • rice80 g
  • beef400 g
  • onion1 pcs
  • carrot1 pcs
  • tomato2 pcs
  • potato2 pcs
  • oil2 tbsp
  • cumin1 tsp
  • salt1 tsp

Instructions

Cut the meat into small cubes and brown it in a pot.

Add onion, carrot, and tomatoes and fry for 5–7 minutes.

Add rinsed mung beans, cover with water, and cook for 30 minutes.

Add potatoes, rice, cumin, and salt.

Cook for another 20–25 minutes until the mung beans and rice are tender.

Serve hot with herbs or a spoonful of sour milk.
