  • burger buns4 pcs
  • onion1 pcs

  • garlic2 cloves
  • tomato sauce300 g
  • ketchup3 tbsp
  • brown sugar2 tbsp
  • mustard1 tsp
  • worcestershire sauce1 tbsp
  • salt1 to taste
  • black pepper1 to taste

Instructions

1

Finely dice the onion and green bell pepper, and mince the garlic.

2

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef for 7-8 minutes, breaking up the clumps with a spatula, until no pink remains; drain off excess fat if needed.

3

Add the onion, pepper, and garlic to the beef and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring, until the vegetables have softened.

4

Stir in the tomato sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.

5

Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer uncovered for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened.

6

Split the buns in half and toast them cut-side down in a dry skillet or under the broiler for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.

7

Spoon the hot meat filling onto the bottom halves of the buns, cover with the tops, and serve immediately while the sauce is hot.
