Ingredients

  • devzira rice or basmati600 g
  • lamb700 g
  • carrot700 g
  • onion2 pcs
  • whole garlic2 heads
  • oil120 ml
  • cumin2 tsp
  • barberry1 tbsp
  • salt1.5 tsp

Instructions

Rinse the rice until the water runs clear and soak for 30 minutes.

Heat oil in a kazan and brown the meat well.

Add onion, then julienned carrots, and fry until softened.

Add cumin, barberries, salt, garlic, and water; simmer the zirvak for 30 minutes.

Spread the rice in an even layer, add water just above the rice, and do not stir.
