Cut Rice, Chicken breast, Fresh ginger, Soy sauce; separately prepare the aromatic base with spices, garlic, or ginger.

In a pot, cook the base in oil or fat if that fits the recipe.

Add the main ingredients and cover with water, broth, or the coconut base from the recipe.

Simmer until the protein, grains, or vegetables are tender.
