Ingredients

  • Potatoes or cassava900 g
  • Ground beef or chicken600 g
  • Onion1 pcs
  • Tomato sauce250 g
  • Cheese200 g
  • Butter50 g
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Black pepper1 to taste
  • Garlic2 cloves
  • Milk200 ml

Instructions

Boil potatoes or cassava until tender and mash with butter and milk.

Cook mince or chicken with onion, garlic, and tomato sauce.

Season the filling with salt, pepper, and herbs and simmer until thick.

Spread half the mash in a baking dish and add the meat filling.

Cover with the remaining mash and sprinkle with cheese.

Bake at 190°C for 20-25 minutes until browned.
