Ingredients
- Wheat flour300 g
- Rolled oats120 g
- Whole wheat flour250 g
- Buttermilk or kefir350 ml
- Baking soda1 tsp
- Salt1 to taste
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 200°C and grease or line a loaf tin.

Mix wholemeal flour, some white flour, baking soda, salt, and bran if desired.

Add buttermilk or kefir and mix quickly into a soft dough.

Transfer to the tin and level the top.

Bake for 35-45 minutes until firm and crusty.

Cool on a rack and serve with butter or soup.
