Chicken Teriyaki

Ingredients

  • Chicken breast500 g
  • Soy sauce60 ml
  • Honey2 tbsp
  • Mirin30 ml
  • Garlic2 cloves
  • Fresh ginger1 tsp
  • Sesame seeds1 tbsp
  • Spring onion20 g
  • Rice for serving200 g

Instructions

Make the sauce by mixing soy sauce, honey, mirin, grated garlic, and ginger.

Marinate the chicken breast in half of the sauce for 30 minutes.

Fry the chicken on a hot grill pan for 4-5 minutes on each side.

Pour in the remaining sauce, cover, and cook for 3-4 minutes.

Let the sauce thicken and caramelize into a glaze.
