Polish Pork Goulash
A homestyle Polish pork goulash in a thick paprika sauce.
Ingredients
- Pork shoulder700 g
- Onions2 pcs
- Carrot1 pcs
- Garlic2 cloves
- Tomato paste1 tbsp
- Paprika2 tsp
- Flour1 tbsp
- Bay leaves2 pcs
- Black pepper1 to taste
- Salt1 to taste
- Broth or water400 ml
Instructions
Cut pork into cubes, season, and brown well.
Fry onion and carrot in the same pot.
Add paprika, garlic, and tomato paste, then heat for 1 minute.
Return the meat, pour in broth, and add bay leaf.
Cover and simmer for 60 minutes until the meat is tender.
Thicken the sauce with flour mixed with water and serve with dumplings or groats.
