Bigos

Ingredients

  • Sauerkraut600 g
  • Fresh cabbage400 g
  • Pork500 g
  • Sausage300 g
  • Dried mushrooms30 g
  • Tomato paste2 tbsp
  • Bay leaves2 pcs
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Black pepper1 to taste

Instructions

For Bigos, cut sauerkraut, fresh cabbage, dried mushrooms, pork and sausage into serving pieces.

Brown pork and sausage lightly.

Add sauerkraut and fresh cabbage and cook for 3-5 minutes.

Pour in water and add bay leaves.

Simmer gently until tender and the sauce is thick.

Adjust salt and pepper and serve hot.
