Polish Cheesecake Sernik
Classic Polish baked cheesecake with raisins and vanilla.
Ingredients
- Farmer's cheese1000 g
- Eggs5 pcs
- Sugar180 g
- Butter100 g
- Starch2 tbsp
- Raisins80 g
- Vanilla1 tsp
Instructions
Pass the cheese through a sieve or blend until smooth.
Beat butter with sugar, then add egg yolks one by one.
Mix in cheese, vanilla, starch, and raisins.
Whip egg whites to soft peaks and gently fold them into the cheese mixture.
Transfer to a lined pan and bake at 170°C for 55–65 minutes.
Cool in the turned-off oven, then chill in the refrigerator.
