Pad Thai
A stir-fried noodle dish with a sweet, sour, and savory sauce.
Ingredients
- Rice noodles200 g
- Chicken breast200 g
- Egg2 pcs
- Tamarind paste2 tbsp
- Fish sauce3 tbsp
- Roasted peanuts50 g
- Bean sprouts100 g
- Lime1 pcs
- Spring onion20 g
- Soy sauce1 tbsp
- Sugar1 tsp
Instructions
Soak the rice noodles in warm water for 20 minutes.
Make the sauce from fish sauce, tamarind, palm sugar, and soy sauce.
Cut the chicken breast into strips and stir-fry it in a wok over high heat for 3 minutes.
Push the chicken to one side, crack in the eggs, and scramble them with a spatula.
Add the noodles and sauce, then stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
Add the bean sprouts and spring onion. Serve with peanuts and lime.
