Tom Yum

A hot and sour Thai soup with citrusy herbs and seafood or chicken.

Ingredients

  • Shrimp300 g
  • Coconut milk400 ml
  • Shiitake mushrooms150 g
  • Lemongrass2 стебла
  • Red curry paste1 tbsp
  • Fish sauce2 tbsp
  • Lime juice2 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves10 g
  • Sugar1 tsp
  • Chicken or fish broth600 ml
  • Galangal20 g
  • Kaffir lime leaves4 pcs
  • Fresh chili1 pcs

Instructions

Bring the broth to a boil and add bruised lemongrass, galangal, and kaffir lime leaves.

Add the coconut milk and simmer for 5 minutes.

Slice the shiitake mushrooms and add them to the soup.

Add the peeled shrimp and red curry paste, then cook for 3-4 minutes.

Season with fish sauce, lime juice, and sugar.

Serve with coriander leaves and chili.
