Chow Mein
A popular chinese home-style dish with egg noodles, chicken or pork, cabbage, well suited for a family weekly menu.
Ingredients
- Egg noodles350 g
- Chicken or pork400 g
- Cabbage250 g
- Carrot1 pcs
- Soy sauce3 tbsp
- Oyster sauce2 tbsp
- Salt1 to taste
Instructions
Cook egg noodles in salted water until done, reserving a little cooking water.
Prepare the sauce: chop carrot and warm in a pan.
Add chicken or pork, cabbage and carrot and cook to the right tenderness.
Stir in soy sauce and oyster sauce and heat into a smooth sauce.
Combine the pasta or noodles with the sauce, adding a little cooking water for a creamy texture.
Serve immediately while hot.
