Coxinha

Ingredients

  • Chicken breast500 g
  • Flour300 g
  • Chicken broth500 ml
  • Cream cheese120 g
  • Eggs2 pcs
  • Breadcrumbs180 g
  • Garlic2 cloves
  • Butter30 g
  • Milk200 ml
  • Tomato paste2 tbsp

Instructions

Boil the chicken until cooked, cool it, and shred it.

Saute onion and garlic, then add the chicken, tomato paste or cream cheese, and herbs.

For the dough, boil broth with butter, add flour, and stir quickly into a firm mass.

Cool the dough, divide it into portions, flatten each one, and add chicken filling.

Shape into teardrop croquettes, dip in egg or milk, and coat in breadcrumbs.

Deep-fry until golden.
