Polish Tomato Soup
A popular polish home-style dish with canned tomatoes, chicken broth, carrot, well suited for a family weekly menu.
Ingredients
- Canned tomatoes500 g
- Chicken broth1200 ml
- Carrot1 pcs
- Onion1 pcs
- Cream150 ml
- Rice or noodles120 g
- Salt1 to taste
- Black pepper1 to taste
Instructions
For Polish Tomato Soup, cut canned tomatoes, carrot, onion, chicken broth and rice or noodles into convenient pieces.
In a pot, warm a little fat or liquid and gently cook carrot and onion for 3-5 minutes.
Add chicken broth, rice or noodles, canned tomatoes and carrot and pour in cream.
Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and cook until the firmest components are tender.
At the end, stir in cream, then season with salt and pepper.
Serve the soup at the right temperature: hot for hearty soups or well chilled for cold soups.
