Zanzibar Biryani
A popular home dish, Zanzibar Biryani from the Tanzanian region.

- riso300 g
- coscia di pollo700 g
- latte di cocco400 ml
- cipolla1 pz
- aglio3 spicchi
- zenzero fresco2 cucchiaino
- sale1 cucchiaino
- pepe nero0.5 cucchiaino
Istruzioni
Rinse the rice until the water runs clear; prepare the meat, vegetables or legumes separately.
In a wide pot, fry an aromatic base of onion, garlic, spices and tomatoes, if using.
Add the Rice, Chicken thigh, Coconut milk, Fresh ginger, stir and allow the ingredients to absorb the aromatic base.
Add the rice and pour in hot water, broth or coconut milk in the required quantity.
Cook covered over low heat, stirring as little as possible, until the rice is tender.
Leave the Zanzibar Biryani covered for 10 minutes, fluff with a fork and serve.
