Potato Farls

Flat potato breads fried in a pan.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes700 g
  • Wheat flour300 g
  • Butter40 g
  • Salt1 to taste

Instructions

Boil the potatoes until tender and mash them.

Add butter, salt, and flour and mix into a soft potato dough.

Shape into a round cake about 1 cm thick.

Cut it into 4 triangles.

Cook the farls on a dry or lightly greased pan for 3-4 minutes per side.

Serve warm for breakfast or instead of bread.
