Turkish white beans stewed with tomato and onion.

Ingredients

  • White beans300 g
  • Onion1 pcs
  • Tomato paste2 tbsp
  • Canned tomatoes400 g
  • Butter40 g
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Black pepper1 to taste
  • Broth or water400 ml

Instructions

Rinse tomato paste, white beans, onion and canned tomatoes; soak dry legumes and cook until tender.

Chop onion and saute until soft.

Add white beans, onion, canned tomatoes and tomato paste and pour in butter and broth or water.

Simmer gently until thick.

At the end, stir in butter and broth or water, then season with salt and pepper.

Serve hot.
