Turkish Acma Buns

Soft Turkish buns with butter and sesame.

Ingredients

  • Wheat flour300 g
  • Milk300 ml
  • Butter40 g
  • Eggs2 pcs
  • Sugar100 g
  • Sesame seeds2 tbsp
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Oil2 tbsp

Instructions

Make soft yeast dough from milk, oil, yeast, sugar, salt, and flour.

Let the dough rise until doubled.

Divide into portions, roll each out, brush with butter, and add cheese or olives if desired.

Roll into a rope and shape into a ring or spiral.

Let the buns rise again and brush with egg.

Bake at 180°C until soft and golden.
