Ingredients
- Green plantains4 pcs
- Butter50 g
- Red onion1 pcs
- Vinegar2 tbsp
- Cheese or salami200 g
- Eggs4 pcs
- Salt1 to taste
- Oil2 tbsp
Instructions

Peel the green plantains, cut them into pieces, and boil in salted water until tender.

Drain, reserving some cooking liquid for mashing.

Mash the plantains with butter or oil, adding liquid until soft.

Slice the onion into half-rings and marinate or warm it with vinegar and a pinch of salt.

Cook the onion until softened without drying it out.

Serve mangu with the onions, eggs, cheese, or salami if desired.
