Blueberry Pierogi
Sweet Polish dumplings filled with blueberries and served with sour cream.
Ingredients
- Wheat flour350 g
- Egg1 pcs
- Blueberries300 g
- Sugar60 g
- Potato starch1 tbsp
- Sour cream for serving100 g
- Salt1 to taste
Instructions
Prepare a soft dough from flour, egg, salt, and warm water; rest for 20 minutes.
Mix blueberries with sugar and starch to keep the filling from leaking.
Roll the dough thinly, cut circles, and add the berry filling.
Seal the edges very tightly so the juices stay inside.
Boil gently for 3 minutes after the dumplings float.
Serve with sour cream, yogurt, or a light sprinkle of sugar.
