Tomato Bruschetta
Toasted bread topped generously with chopped tomatoes, herbs, and olive oil.
Ingredients
- Baton bread or ciabatta200 g
- Tomato3 pcs
- Garlic2 cloves
- Fresh basil10 g
- Olive oil2 tbsp
Instructions
Cut the bread into slices about 1.5 cm thick and brown them in a pan or toaster.
Rub each slice with a cut garlic clove.
Dice the tomatoes finely and drain them in a sieve for 5 minutes to remove excess juice.
Mix the tomatoes with basil leaves, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Spoon the tomato mixture onto the toasts.
If desired, drizzle with balsamic vinegar and serve immediately.
