Guacamole
Fresh Mexican guacamole — ripe avocado mashed to a texture with tender chunks, with juicy tomato, white onion, cilantro, hot chili, and lime juice.
Ingredients
- ripe avocado2 pcs
- lime (juice)1 pcs
- tomato1 pcs
- white onion0.5 pcs
- fresh cilantro15 g
- fresh chili0.5 pcs
- salt1 to taste
Instructions
Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl with a spoon.
Mash the flesh with a fork — not to a smooth paste, small chunks should remain.
Add freshly squeezed lime juice, finely chopped white onion, cilantro, and minced chili; season with salt.
Peel and seed the tomato, cut it into small dice, and add to the avocado.
Mix thoroughly; taste and add more lime juice, salt, or chili if needed.
Serve immediately, or press plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the guacamole to slow down browning.
