Korean Soy-Braised Potatoes
A popular korean home-style dish with small potatoes, soy sauce, honey or sugar, well suited for a family weekly menu.
Ingredients
- Small potatoes700 g
- Soy sauce4 tbsp
- Honey or sugar2 tbsp
- Garlic cloves3 cloves
- Sesame oil1 tbsp
- Sesame seeds1 tbsp
Instructions
Peel or scrub the potatoes and cut them into evenly sized pieces.
If needed, parboil them or rinse away excess starch.
Toss with oil, butter, salt, spices, onion, or other add-ins.
Fry, bake, or simmer until tender inside and browned outside.
Finish with herbs, cheese, sour cream, sauce, or crispy toppings.
Serve hot as a side dish or a simple family main.
