Mango Lassi
A thick, chilled Indian drink made with sweet ripe mango, natural yogurt and a delicate hint of cardamom.
Ingredients
- mango2 pcs
- plain yogurt400 g
- milk250 ml
- honey2 tbsp
- ground cardamom0.25 tsp
Instructions
Take sweet ripe mangoes, natural yogurt and milk well chilled, so the lassi turns out thick and refreshing.
Peel the mangoes, cut the flesh away from the pits and chop it into pieces.
Transfer the mango into a blender, add the yogurt, milk, honey and ground cardamom.
Blend on high speed for 1–2 minutes until the drink is smooth, creamy and lightly frothy.
Taste the lassi: if the mango isn't sweet enough, add a bit more honey, blend for a few seconds, then pour immediately into two glasses.
Serve the mango lassi right away, chilled.
