Margherita Pizza

A simple pizza with tomato sauce, mozzarella, and fresh basil.

Ingredients

  • Premium wheat flour300 g
  • Dry yeast7 g
  • Canned tomatoes200 g
  • Mozzarella200 g
  • Fresh basil10 g
  • Olive oil3 tbsp

Instructions

Dissolve the yeast in warm water with 1 tsp sugar. After 10 minutes, add the flour, salt, and oil, then knead and let the dough rise for 1 hour.

Roll the dough into a round about 28 cm in diameter.

Spread it with tomato sauce made from tomatoes, basil, oil, and salt.

Arrange pieces of mozzarella over the sauce.

Bake at the highest oven temperature, about 250°C, for 8-10 minutes.

Finish with fresh basil and a drizzle of olive oil.
